Refund Policy.

The short version

1. Who this policy covers

This Refund Policy applies to everyone who subscribes to a paid VoxLive plan (Starter, Pro, Ministry, or a custom Enterprise plan). The free tier is, as the name suggests, free — there is nothing to refund.

2. 14-day money-back guarantee

If VoxLive doesn't fit your needs, you can request a full refund of your first paid subscription within 14 calendar days of the first payment. You do not need to explain why. This applies to both monthly and annual plans, and covers the first invoice only.

Refunds are issued back to the original payment method. We can't issue cash or wire refunds — the money goes where it came from.

3. Monthly subscriptions

After the 14-day window, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period. You can cancel from your account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal at any time; when you cancel, your account stays on the paid plan until the period you already paid for ends, then drops to the free tier. No partial refunds for unused days in the month.

4. Annual subscriptions

After the 14-day window, annual subscribers who cancel mid-year may request a prorated refund for any unused whole months remaining. Example: on a $278/year Starter plan, canceling after 4 months entitles you to a refund for 8 unused months, minus any promotional discounts or coupons applied at purchase.

5. Overage charges

Broadcast hours beyond your plan's monthly included amount are billed as overage (see your billing summary in account settings). Overage charges reflect real per-minute costs on our side and are not refundable. If you're worried about surprise bills, your plan's hour cap prevents this by design — new broadcasts are blocked when your monthly quota is exhausted until you upgrade.

6. Free tier

The free tier is free. There is nothing to refund. If you upgrade, then decide you want the free tier back, cancel your paid subscription from the Customer Portal; your account returns to free when the paid period ends.

7. Comped, discounted, and beta accounts

If your subscription was comped (free Ministry or other elevated plan issued manually) or is on a 100%-off coupon, there is nothing paid, and therefore nothing to refund. If you received a partial discount (promotional coupon, annual early-bird pricing), refunds are calculated on the actual amount paid, net of the discount.

8. How to request a refund

Email hello@voxlive.app from the email address on the subscription, with:

We'll confirm receipt within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 5 business days. Refunds typically land on your card within 5-10 business days after that depending on your bank.

9. Chargebacks

If you believe we charged you incorrectly, please email us first. Almost every billing issue is resolvable directly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us results in your account being suspended until the dispute is resolved; repeated chargebacks without contact may result in permanent account closure.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy to reflect product or legal changes. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes that reduce your rights will also be announced by email to active subscribers.
